West Lebanon is a hub for shopping, restaurants, entertainment and more fun for students. West Lebanon is located about 35 minutes away from campus and is an easy drive up Interstate 89.
Directly connected to West Lebanon, Lebanon is also a great place for students to grab a bite to eat or see a show at the Lebanon Opera House.
SUNAPEE, NH
Sunapee is a small lakefront town located 15 minutes from Colby-Sawyer. Sunapee offers restaurants, gas stations and coffee, but also many opportunities for outdoor activities, from skiing at Mount Sunapee to hiking the trails and sunbathing on the beach at Mount Sunapee State Park.
CONCORD, NH
Concord is the largest city located near Colby-Sawyer. It is a 40 minute drive from campus down Interstate 89. There are many options for shopping, restaurants, entertainment, coffee shops and more, including options not found in West Lebanon or other surrounding areas.
WARNER, NH
Located about 20 minutes from Colby-Sawyer,
Warner is a small town with a variety of small local businesses, restaurants and shops for students to explore. A variety of hiking areas, include the location of Mountain Day, Mt. Kearsarge, are also located in Warner for those interested in getting outside.

HANOVER, NH
Hanover is a small college town located about 35 minutes away from Colby-Sawyer just off of Interstate 89. Dartmouth College is at the heart of the town and there are a variety of restaurants, shops, art exhibits, and even a movie theater that are a favorite of students. For sports fans, there are also a range of Dartmouth sporting events from ice hockey to football that you can purchase tickets to attend with friends!
WEST LEBANON, NH
NO CAR ON CAMPUS? NO WORRIES
Not having a car on campus doesn't mean you can't get off campus! There are plenty of opportunities and resources for students who need a ride, including student van drivers, rideshares and planned trips to local businesses.
Information about planned trips is sent out to your Colby-Sawyer email often, and vans and student drivers are available as needed, even when planned trips aren't available. To access information about rides off campus and to schedule a van, visit the Trips page on myColby-Sawyer.
